Police are looking for help identifying a man who allegedly assaulted a female MTA train conductor.

Police say the crime happened on June 24 in what police say started as an argument between the man and the MTA worker on a southbound 5 train arriving at the 138th Street-Grand Concourse station.

Police released a closer look at the man who they say took a hammer and began striking the conductor’s window, causing the glass to break.

A piece of glass struck the conductor in her face, causing a laceration. She has been treated for her injuries.
