Police: 12-year-old girl, several others injured in separate Bronx overnight shootings

Seven people are now recovering at Bronx hospitals following two separate shootings within 24 hours, including a 12-year-old girl.

The first round of gunfire broke out Sunday night on Eastburn Avenue in which a 12-year-old girl, a 35-year-old woman a 22-year-old man and a 23-year-old man are all now recovering and in stable condition. The shooter is currently on the loose.

At 400 Claremont Pkwy., three men were shot just after 4 a.m. Police say two of the victims, a 28-year-old man and a 34-year-old man, were found inside the building with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. Both men are in critical condition.

Another 30-year-old man is in stable condition and recovering from gunshot wounds to the arm and legs. Residents in the area told News 12 that they're concerned for their children's safety.

It is unclear what exactly led to both shootings or if they're connected. The whereabouts of the suspects are unknown.
