New information has been released about what led to a Norwalk couple crashing their plane on Martha's Vineyard last month.
According to his wife, pilot Randolph Bonnist "blacked out" after performing a go-around maneuver while on approach to the airport.
She said there were no mechanical issues whatsoever when the single engine plane went down July 15.
The NTSB says Bonnist had to provide extensive medical documentation to continue flying after some sort of health concern.
He had just had his medical clearance renewed a month before the crash.
Bonnist died five days after the crash. His wife was unhurt.
