Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point in Throgs Neck will no longer bear the Trump name, as the former president's organization has sold the course to Bally's casino chain.

This comes after City Council members called for the Trump Organization's license to be terminated in 2022. This call came after the city ended its contract with Trump for the Central Park Carousel and two ice skating rinks in 2021 after the Jan. 6 riots in Washington, D.C.

News 12 reached out the city's Parks Department for a statement and it provided the following:

"We are supportive of the transfer of the Ferry Point Golf Course to Bally’s, and we are confident they will deliver a high-quality golfing experience to New Yorkers."

News 12 reached out to the Trump Organization for comment and is awaiting a response.

The NYC Comptroller's website shows that Trump's contract with the Parks Department is now set to expire on Sept. 21.
