Today was the last day for shoppers at Marshall’s at the Bronx Terminal Market before the store is closed permanently.
The closing was announced back in October, citing economic reasons. Its 100 employees will be scattered across other locations.
"We are always assessing and reviewing our real estate strategies, and our decision to close these stores as we approach the end of their lease terms reflects that thinking,” says a Marshall’s communications manager in a statement.
Marshall’s, known as a discounted department store, has over 1000 locations across the country.
