A suspect wanted for a store burglary caught on camera in Belmont last month was recently identified and arrested.

Police say 33-year-old Andrew Stanganelle broke into Arthur Fashion and stole $1,500 from the register on Feb. 22.

He was recorded on surveillance footage throwing a rock or brick into the storefront just before 6 a.m. that morning.

Police say he then entered the shop and took the money before fleeing the scene.

The store was left with shattered glass and the register was destroyed.
