Diane Mitchell was in her kitchen when her ceiling crashed down onto her last Friday.

Her sister found her unconscious on the floor. She was then rushed to the hospital.

Doctors say she was left with a concussion, deep bruises and a bad knee.

"I'm catching headaches ever since this happened and my knee was already messed up and now it's messed up even more," said Mitchell.

News 12 got in touch with the landlord, who said she will send a crew to fix the ceiling at some point soon.
