Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who they say responsible for a series of sex crimes recently reported in Brooklyn.

The suspect has assaulted at least five women between April 9 and April 14, according to authorities.

Investigators say he slapped a 25-year-old woman on the buttocks during the first incident near Lincoln Road and Flatbush Avenue.

He slapped a 37-year-old woman’s buttocks, then punched a 31-year-old woman’s arm and performed a lewd act in the same area the next day, according to authorities.

Police say he approached a 27-year-old, placed his hands over her neck and applied pressure near Lefferts Avenue on April 14.

He placed his hands of the neck of a 33-year-old woman near Flatbush Avenue and Maple Street on April 17.

He also put his hands on a 30-year-old woman’s neck in the final incident on Flatbush and Lefferts avenues.

None of the victims were injured, according to authorities.

Authorities urge anyone with additional information to call 1-800-577-TIPS.
