Glass panels fell off of a Downtown Brooklyn building and struck two people below, the Department of Buildings says.

Emergency responders were called to the vacant building at 245 Duffield St. just before 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

Citizen app video from the scene shows firefighters investigating on the second floor, where a window is missing.

The FDNY says paramedics took the injured people to the hospital. DOB says they both suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The property owners of 245 Duffield St. have an active permit for the full demolition, according to the DOB, but the site was not closed at the time of the incident.

Buildings officials say the owners were aware of the incident and they have contracted workers who are actively cleaning up the glass and boarding up the area with the missing panels.
