A garage fire in the Bronx drew a large emergency response Friday afternoon, according to the FDNY.
Authorities say the call came in at 1:32 p.m. for a reported fire at a garage located at 553 Minnieford Ave., near Kilroe Street and Cross Street.
Video posted on the Citizen App shows smoke rising from the island, visible from Orchard Beach.
A total of 21 units, including 79 fire and EMS personnel, responded to the scene.
The fire was brought under control at approximately 2:17 p.m., and no injuries were reported.
Fire marshals have been notified and are investigating the cause of the blaze.
