The NYPD says a man was stabbed to death and another was wounded during an attack in Morris Heights on Wednesday afternoon.
It unfolded near Davidson and West Tremont avenues just after 3:30 p.m.
According to police, a 32-year-old man suffered a stab wound to the chest, and a 33-year-old victim was stabbed multiple times in the torso.
Surveillance video obtained by News 12 shows a man in a green shirt clutching an item in his pocket as he walks down the sidewalk and underneath the scaffolding, where it appears the attack unfolds. The footage then shows two people running away from the scene, one with blood on his shirt and another clutching his stomach.
Police say paramedics rushed both men to St. Barnabas, where the 32-year-old died.
The second victim is expected to recover, according to the NYPD.
Information about what led up to the deadly attack was not immediately available.
