A three-alarm fire tore through a residential building in Longwood Thursday evening, damaging multiple apartments.
A witness says the fire appears to have started in one of the top-floor apartments of 955 163rd St.
People who live in the building say they smelled smoke around 8:30 p.m. and immediately ran out of the building.
News 12 received reports that everyone living in the building is accounted for.
