The company is closing 87 of their flagship locations nationwide, including all Harmon stores. Last month, Bed Bath & Beyond reported that their third-quarter sales fell by approximately 33 percent.

Bed Bath & Beyond has announced that it will be shutting down three of its New York City locations.
The company is closing 87 locations nationwide. Last month, Bed Bath & Beyond reported that their third-quarter sales fell by approximately 33 percent.
Two of the three locations that are shutting down are in Brooklyn - one location at 459 Gateway Drive in East New York and 850 Third Ave. in Greenwood. A third location at 72-15 25th Ave. in Queens will also close.
Bed Bath & Beyond provided News 12 with the following statement:
"As we work with our advisors to consider multiple paths, we are implementing actions to manage our business as efficiently as possible. We continue our analysis of our store footprint based on a variety of factors, and together with our advisors, have identified additional Bed Bath & Beyond store closures that we will implement in a timely manner. Additionally, the Company announced the closure of all Harmon locations."
