ACS says more parents needed to help foster nearly 7,000 kids in system

City leaders are asking the public for help to provide homes for the nearly 7,000 kids in the foster care system.

Jess Dannhauser, commissioner of the Administration for Children's Services, says nearly everyone can get involved.
"All you need is a loving and a stable home," said Dannhauser. "If you can really prioritize children and make sure that you're providing them a safety and care and love that you need, than anybody can be a foster parent."
