Alert Center: Shrinkflation hits again as Doritos removes 5 chips per bag

Not only have prices been on the rise across the country, many of your favorite products are getting smaller.
Frito-Lay, a subsidiary of Purchase-based PepsiCo, has announced that consumers will be getting five fewer chips in a bag of Doritos.
A company spokesperson says they need to cut somewhere because of inflation.
Instead of charging you more, they'll give you just a little bit less - going from a 9.75 oz. bag to a 9.25 oz. bag.
Analysts say while five fewer chips doesn't sound like a lot, savings will add up for Frito-Lays. Spread over 200 million bags of chips, the total amount saved could be upwards of $50 million.
