Residents living in Allerton say they are unable to park in front of their homes due to Con Edison pipes blocking the streets.
According to residents, the rubber pipes span at least 20 feet long and have been on sitting on the curb on Olinville Avenue for at least three months. The pipes were originally brought in to replace underground gas lines for a Con Ed project.
Bronx drivers say they have received tickets because the pipes take up parking spaces.
Residents also placed a piece of wood over a large hole in the street. They say numerous calls to 311 have yielded no results.
News 12 reached out to Con Ed for comment, but has not yet heard back.
