Bally's unveils plan for casino at Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point

According to Bally's, the proposal calls for transforming a former waste disposal site and high-end golf course into a world-class entertainment destination. Bally's is also focusing on workforce housing for employees of the proposed casino and entertainment center.
In a statement to News 12, Bally's says that it has a proven track record in other places generating solid community benefits and living wage union jobs. Officials also say they will ensure Bronx businesses and residents will benefit economically from the venture.
Last month, the city opened bidding for three casinos in New York City. Potential casino sites in the running are Hudson Yards, Times Square, Coney Island and Willets Point near Citi Field.
