Baseball field's drainage problems leave kids stuck on the sidelines
A kids baseball league says they're forced to arrive for their game hours early just to fix the drainage problems.
The fields at Macombs Dam Park are underwater. Players running from home to first base could also possibly fall into a ditch.
Kids who play on the field say every morning when the sprinklers are turned on, they make puddles. They say they haven't been able to play one quality game this season because of the field's problems.
The Parks Department admitted there are problems at the field, and say they've contacted a special contractor to fix it.
