Ray Negron, a former Yankees batboy, was at Yankee Tavern Wednesday to spread the word about a play coming to Hostos Community College – appropriately titled, “Batboy.”
The show centers around Negron’s time with the Yankees in the 1970s.
It has a little bit of everything – laughter, drama and music by Alex Martin.

There are even some Yankees in the play. Bernie Williams, David Cone, Bucky Dent and current third baseman Gio Urshela are scheduled to appear.
While there will be a lot of Yankees on stage Thursday night, the true star of the show isn't in the play at all. Proceeds from the event will be going to Danny Colon, 52, who has been battling ALS.
