Local medical staff members hoped to educate the public on COVID-19 Friday night.
Big Apple Urgent Care held a forum Friday at its East Flatbush office to inform the community. The forum focused on prevention rather than panic.
Medical staff says they are on the frontlines of health care, seeing patients with various symptoms.

They decided to hold this forum to address any questions. Doctors have studied up on the virus as daily updates have surfaced. Workers offered all of the information they have so far, and took questions from those in attendance.
They say they realized many patients that were coming in were misinformed.
Big Apple Urgent Care has two more sessions scheduled on Sat. March 6, and Monday, March 9.
