Black
and Mobile, a Black-owned food delivery app, launched in Brooklyn today.
The app focuses on bringing goods from Black restaurants to consumers. It
originally launched in 2019 in Philadelphia.
It was founded by twin brothers David and Aaron Cabello.
David tells News 12 that when he dropped out of college, he began
delivering food on popular apps. During the time, he noticed he wasn’t
picking up from a lot of Black-owned businesses.
This prompted the brothers to start the app.
The app currently services Philadelphia, Atlanta, Detroit, Baltimore and now
New York City – targeting Brooklyn and Queens.
