Members of Nassau County's new Anti-Semitism Task Force were sworn in Tuesday.
County Executive Bruce Blakeman led the group's first meeting as hate crimes on Long Island are on the rise.
The task force is made up a bi-partisan group of county legislators, residents and leaders in the Jewish community.
The group will hold public hearings to try and figure out the cause of increasing antisemitic incidents.
