The Board of Elections says it continues to see record-high numbers on Day 3 of Early Voting.
Voters in the Bronx and Brooklyn made their voices heard at the polls on Monday.
Officials say Day 1 saw a total of 140,145 voters across the five boroughs, with 16,462 in the Bronx and a whopping 40,289 in Brooklyn, the highest in the city.
The BOE says it wanted Early Voting to be more accessible this year, so it added 49 more polling sites and expanded daily hours.
Polling sites are open Oct. 28 through Nov. 1 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Nov. 2 and Nov. 3 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. To find a polling site near you, go to visit the BOE’s website.
Early Voting was first signed into law in 2019.
