Customers of a Bronx pizzeria swear by the restaurant’s authentic style.

Customer Cheryl Brinker says she enjoys all the dishes at Filomena's Pizzeria including their fresh handmade pastas, oils and cheeses.

"Their pizza is phenomenal, no fake ingredients," Brinker says.  

Located on City Island Avenue, customers say there's no other shop around like it.

"We use quality ingredients. You hope when you put in good stuff that good stuff comes out," Anthony Delillis Sr. says. 

Formerly the owner of a ravioli shop, Delillis opened Filomena's with his son, Anthony, 4 years ago.

His son's youngest memory is making pasta with his father.

Customers have become family, according to the owners and family needs to be fed.

"It's all personal, everyone is around helping each other out," Delillis Jr. says.
