Bricks fell off the side of a West Farms apartment building on Wednesday.
Tenants of the building on East 178th St. told News 12 the bricks fell and crushed a motorcycle, but no one was injured.
They add they are not surprised this incident happened as they've had issues in the building in the past. The current scaffolding on the building has been up for almost four years due to the loose bricks.
"There is not much maintenance being done, there is a lot of maintenance that needs to be done on the building,” said the building’s vice president.
NYCHA adds they have technical staff assessing the damage caused by the bricks and looking into what further measures need to be taken.
