Here’s what you need to know:
  • It's cool, clear and comfortable this morning. Temperatures are in the mid 60s.
  • Today will be similar to yesterday but with a clear blue sky. Highs will be in the low 80s. The air quality continues to improve throughout today. It will range from good to moderate levels.
  • A tropical wave off the Carolina coastlines is kicking up the surf and bringing a rip current risk to the ocean facing beaches through the weekend.
  • It will be a gorgeous weekend with highs in the mid to upper 80s and stunning sunshine. Humidity levels will be low with overnight lows in the 60s to low 70s.
  • The next chance of rain is the midweek of next week with an approaching front, but the chances are very low and isolated. Our third potential heat wave arrives Monday through Thursday with temperatures soaring to the low 90s.
  • The latest drought monitor shows a few parts of the city already experiencing abnormally dry conditions. Drought conditions will be monitored closely due to the recent lack of rainfall. Stay tuned for updates!
