The Summer Theater of New Canaan is putting on the hit Broadway show Matilda the Musical at New Canaan High School.
The show follows the story of Matilda, a young girl who stands up to injustice.
The production debuted Friday night runs until July 26. It features professional actors and crew members.
The director says the Broadway veterans are bringing a world-class show to New Canaan.
"I just love directing this show, I love working with this company, and I am really excited to unleash it to an audience,” Allegra Libonati stated.
