One local artist is rolling the dice on ice and hoping her audience doesn't give her the cold shoulder.
Elizabeth Guarracino discovered her passion for photographing ice when a chunk fell out of her refrigerator while living in Colorado with her dog.
Guarracino started shooting the natural light falling upon ice, racking up close to 20,000 photos.
She said the discovery followed a passion for art that she abandoned when she was a little girl.
"I think my purpose is to keep creating art that people end up looking at thinking, what is that," says Guarracino.
Guarracino says she has been so inspired by her ice photography that she's decided to put the designs on a new yoga pants line she's launching.
