There are some events happening in the borough that residents should be aware of this weekend.

The Bronx Community College Hall of Fame 10K Run will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The race starts at Hall of Fame Terrace on Sedgwick Avenue and University Place, and finishes at the Grand Concourse between 179th Street and Van Cortlandt Park Avenue East. Drivers should avoid the area if possible due to street closures.

The Five Boro Bike Tour will take place on Sunday. Riders will enter the Bronx through the Madison Avenue Bridge and will exit on the Third Avenue Bridge. The Mott Haven area will be relatively busy during that time.

Alternate side of the street parking rules will be in effect this weekend citywide.
