3ds agoBronx Council Member Rafael Salamanca Jr. announced Tuesday that he is running for borough president.
Salamanca has served in the Bronx for 8 years. He says his goal is to build a “safer and more affordable Bronx.”
He is running against incumbent Vanessa Gibson in 2025. Salamanca ran for borough president in 2021 but then chose to focus on his City Council reelection.
