More than a dozen people were shot last weekend inside of a lounge in Crown Heights. Three were killed. Police identified two of the shooters as among the dead as the investigation into two other gunman continues.

Councilwoman Crystal Hudson, who represents that area, joined Amanda Bossard to discuss the shooting and what can be done to address ongoing violence.

Earlier this month, 14-year-old Angel Mendoza was fatally stabbed inside Williamsbridge’s Oval Park. Since then, local leaders have announced new security upgrades there but are also calling for a response from top brass at the NYPD.

Councilman Eric Dinowitz discussed those efforts.
