A Bronx woman is making her dreams come true while she fosters growth and development in Norwood.
Olivia Rivera, 25, opened up Liv’s Learning Tree to give children a place to learn and grow.
"We let them know that this is their home away from home. They are here for over 10 hours a day so we want this to be a second family for them. We want this to be a second home for them,” she says.
Liv’s Learning Tree focuses on giving the children the same opportunities Liv herself has had.
"Whatever they want to do. We want them to express themselves. We want them to be themselves,” she says.
Rivera says she has done it all with the support of her family. She says her mother works by her side and that her father helped to paint the rooms and build the furniture.
