Entire communities are without power or service, homes were destroyed, and families are struggling to reach one another.

In New York, Dr. Dixon with the JAHJAH Foundation is collecting donations of medical supplies and other necessities to help.

Dixonsays he has been in touch with a woman in Jamaica who has a generator and is communicating through Starlink.

The JAHJAH Foundation says supplies will be collected throughout the recovery efforts.
