Some teenagers in the Bronx are helping to clean up Crotona Park.
More than 270 students from various high schools across the borough are raking leaves, picking up trash and helping to make the park a better place.
The students are part of the organization buildOn.
Saturday's cleanup effort kicks off the volunteering season for the students, who also help out in soup kitchens, after-school tutoring and other types of volunteer work to help boost their communities.
The organization does volunteer work six days per week throughout the year in the Bronx.
