A prominent Bronx blogger who writes about parenting has some ideas for how to incorporate kids into New Year's Eve celebrations.
Nicole Perrino is the "Bronx Mama," and she says parents can make sure both the adults and children at a New Year's party have fun by setting up a special corner for the kids.
The corner can include desserts or a photo booth for children who will be able to stay awake until the ball drops.
For toddlers who will likely fall asleep before that, she says parents can celebrate the new year at noon instead of midnight.
Another tip, she says, is giving kids cider as adults sip champagne.
