Feds have arrested a man believed to be the mastermind of a heroin and fentanyl trafficking ring in the Bronx.
Agents from the DEA extradited Anyerdon Delacruz-Rosario, from the Dominican Republic, last week. Prosecutors say Delacruz-Rosario set up a number of heroin operations in the Bronx between 2014 and 2016.
Authorities say 11 other people have previously been arrested in connection to the investigation and have all pleaded guilty.
Delacruz-Rosario has been charged with conspiracy, operating as a major trafficker and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
