yesterdayA Bronx man accused of injuring someone during a shooting in Parkchester on June 29 has been indicted for attempted murder.
Police say the incident began when 31-year-old Kavon Burton got into an argument with 28-year-old man on McGraw and Metropolitan Avenue.
Burton removed his gun from his fanny pack and fired multiple shots, striking the victim in the chest twice before fleeing the scene.
Burton faces several other charges in addition to attempted murder. He is scheduled to return to court on Nov. 12.
