Bronx merengue singer Benny Sadel has died of leukemia at 55 years old.
Sadel spent several days at Jacobi Medical Center before his death Thursday morning.
The popular singer is best known for his merengue hits in the '80s and '90s, but he is also known for being a great part of his neighborhood.
