Bronx native Romeo Santos, who has been called the king of Bachata, will take the stage tonight at Yankee Stadium.
Thousands of fans will gather tonight for Santos' debut as the first Latin artist to perform at the new stadium.
Santos first announced the two-night concert event in February, when his second studio album "Formula Vol. 2" hit No. 1 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart.
His previous album, "Formula Vol. 1" also received a 2013 Grammy nomination for Best Tropical Album.
The singer's reps tell News 12 that Santos is on vocal rest in preparation for tonight's performance.
