City officials have responded to complaints about a trash-filled lot and cleaned up the space.
The 24-hour turnover comes after News 12 reported on the trash-filled lot a day earlier.
The Department of Sanitation cleaned up the private property Friday. The government agency says this is the fourth time it was called to maintain the lot.
The department brought two large trucks, a tractor loader and several landscaping tools. A spokesperson for The Bank of New York Mellon, who is listed as the owner of the lot, says the property is under a tax lien and is the responsibility of M-TAG Services to up-keep the lot.
News 12 has made several calls to M-TAG services, but it has not responded yet.
