Wednesday marks Paraprofessional Appreciation Day, recognizing those who play key supportive roles to the main professionals in fields like education, health care and law.
News 12 made their way to Urban Assembly Bronx Academy of Letters to honor a local paraprofessional, Rosa Lecca.
Lecca has worked at the Mott Haven school for a decade as a paraprofessional, helping the children in her classroom. Her students say they value what she does for their education and well-being.
