Bronx residents tried to enjoy a break from the extreme heat at a rooftop screening Tuesday night, but were asked to leave just an hour into the movie due to the weather.
Temperatures reached nearly 90 degrees Tuesday, so some Bronx residents went to cool down with a screening of Disney's "Frozen" at the Bronx Terminal Market.
An hour into the movie, dozens of families were asked to leave because of rain and storms.
Families were looking forward to the movie after an extremely hot day, but said they would rather be safe than sorry.
The event was part of the third annual rooftop film series.
