Bronx residents were bundled up tightly in their winter jackets and hooded sweatshirts Monday amid a bitter blast of weather.
The whipping winds forced temperatures to feel like the 20s throughout the day. Monday's high barely eked past 40 degrees.
Some residents said they were prepared for the blustery day, but were not too happy about it.
The wind is expected to linger Tuesday amid temperatures in the 30s and 40s.
