Head Start program expands in the Bronx
9ds agoOrchard Beach opened for the season last weekend, and beach access is now available every day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The city has 22 lifeguards in the Bronx, but officials say that number will rise as more lifeguards will receive their certificates through July 4.
News 12's Heather Fordham spoke with excited beachgoers who came from across the borough to welcome the summery weather.
