Bronx River Parkway remains closed as other roads start to reopen post-Ida

On Thursday evening, police were redirecting traffic on the Bronx River Parkway, as it remained closed from Mosholu Parkway to Gun Hill Road.

The remnants of Hurricane Ida wreaked havoc across the five boroughs and flooded major highways.
Many were shut down for most of the day Thursday and are remaining closed, such as the Bronx River Parkway. Parts of the Major Deegan Expressway are now open.
