2h agoThe Bronx Summer Concert Series officially kicked off on Sunday at Orchard Beach.
Sunday’s show, organized by Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson, featured performances by Charlie Cruz, Luis Damon, DNX4 and Luisito Rey y La Dinamica.
"Family, coming together, enjoying the weather, we're not even worried about the rain,” said Bronx resident Francine Powell.
The summer concert series will be held every Sunday through Sept. 3. Next week’s concert will be at Soundview Park.
