With the tax day deadline quickly approaching, one Bronx tax service is offering tips on how to make filing easier.

The owners of Burns and Rodriguez Tax Services on Tremont Avenue say that people often wait until the last minute to do their taxes because they have to juggle with numbers, finding old pay stubs and finding the time to do them.

They say that they often deal with people coming into their business with missing documents and have to backtrack to find what they need.

Richard Rodriguez says if you can keep track of old receipts and important documents at the beginning of the year, getting taxes done will be a lot easier.

For those who tend to file late, the owners suggest being as organized as possible.
