A Bronx rapper is making waves in the hip hop world with the release of his first single with rapper Jadakiss.

Deven Angel says he has been writing music since he was 14 years old. He says he loves telling other people's stories and hopes to be a voice for his generation.

"I like writing about, not only my experiences, but other people's experiences, so it could be relatable," says Angel. "So people feel like I'm talking to them and pointing them out."

Angel says singing has been a passion of his since he was a kid.

He says he hopes to see his face on a billboard in Times Square one day.
