The Bronx Zoo will have a rare endangered species in the world of reptiles this weekend. The zoo will have three male Sunda gharial it received from New Orleans.
The Sunda gharials are a freshwater crocodilian species from the swamps and wetlands of Southest Asia that will be raised in the zoo.
They are one of the most giant crocodilians as they can grow up to 18-feet and are considered an apex predator within their ecosystem.
