10h agoThe Bronxwood Church of God held its health fair on Saturday.
Event organizers told News 12 they wanted the fair to bring awareness to the variety of resources available to the community.
"We are having a health fair today to bring awareness of different resources to the church,” said family nurse practitioner Angellia Mennell. “This is our first health fair, and we hope to continue annually. We talk about mental health, we talk about all kinds of screening that is available to people even if they don't have insurance, there are different resources they can use to insurance and to get their health screening."
Several health organizations were in attendance for the fair.
